Why use UPVC column pipe instead of GI?
UPVC column pipe does not rust, is much lighter (easier to install and pull out), and seals with rubber-ringed threaded joints. It is now the standard for submersible pumps.
What class of column pipe do I need?
It depends on the pump depth and rating — deeper installs need a higher-strength class. Tell us the depth and pump HP and we will recommend the class.
