UPVC Pipes & Fittings — FAQs
What is the difference between UPVC and CPVC?
UPVC is for cold water and is very rigid and strong; CPVC handles hot water up to ~93°C. Use UPVC for cold supply and column lines, CPVC for hot-water plumbing.
Is UPVC the same as PVC?
UPVC is a rigid, unplasticised form of PVC — harder and stronger than ordinary flexible PVC, so it is preferred for pressure water lines and column pipe.
What UPVC sizes do you stock?
