GI (Galvanised Iron) Pipes & Fittings in Mumbai

Threaded galvanised iron pipe and fittings for high-pressure, fire-line and heavy-duty runs.

Sizes½"¾"1"1¼"1½"2"2½"3"

Galvanised iron remains the go-to where strength and pressure matter — risers, fire-fighting lines, pump rooms, terrace headers and exposed runs that need to take a knock. The zinc coating resists rust, and threaded joints make assembly and repair straightforward.

We carry GI pipe and the complete family of threaded fittings — elbows, tees, reducers, nipples, unions, sockets and plugs — in light, medium and heavy class. Tell us the class and size your job needs.

GI (Galvanised Iron) Fittings — FAQs

What class of GI pipe should I use?

Light (A / yellow band) suits low-pressure work, medium (B / blue band) is the common all-rounder, and heavy (C / red band) is for high-pressure and fire lines. We stock all three — tell us the application and we will guide you.

Do you cut and thread GI pipe to size?

We supply standard lengths and a full range of nipples and fittings. For custom threading, message us your sizes and we will advise what we can prepare.

Is GI better than CPVC for hot water?

CPVC is now preferred for internal hot-water plumbing — it does not rust or scale. GI is chosen where mechanical strength, fire-rating or exposed runs are the priority.
